Predicting a trade: Titans send a 6th round pick to the Cowboys for DE Everson Griffen
The Tennessee Titans are beating teams left and right this year and they are doing it without a pass rush. Yes, you read that right. The Titans are averaging 1.2 sacks a game which is tied for the third worst in the NFL.
The Titans are paying tons of money to Jadeveon Clowney and Vic Beasley too right now and they are failing to get to the quarterback. Well it ends soon. We think the Titans offering up a 6th round pick to the Cowboys in exchange for pass rusher Everson Griffen is a steal.
The Cowboys are not winning anytime soon. Their offensive line play is atrocious and they have already made it clear they have Everson Griffen on the trade block.
Griffen has 2.5 sacks already this season and has a knack for getting after the quarterback. The Titans are struggling in that area, but they can add a solid rotational veteran for a one year loaner deal. The salary on Griffen for the rest of the year is 3 million dollars. That is a steal for a veteran pass rusher.
The Titans want to win and they could have beat the Steelers if they could have gotten to big Ben more. I think the Titans make one of the best trades in the NFL by landing a veteran pass rusher in Everson Griffen.
