Five recently drafted players that could be on the trade block

Hakeem Butler
Hakeem Butler the former fourth round pick of the Arizona Cardinals is likely on the trading block. I cannot see the team keeping him at this point.

Let’s face it not every rookie pans out. I wanted to start a conversational piece about some guys we think could be on the trade block after just a couple years on their team.

Hakeem Butler – Butler played college football at Iowa State University, and was drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. I think he will definitely be on the trade block. The Cardinals are stacked at wide out and the Jets need wide outs bad. This could be a match made in heaven.

Jaylen Samuels – I know Steelers fans are going to get upset but y’all have Benny Snell, James Connor and you just drafted Anthony McFarland. I think Samuels is the odd man out. They can keep them all but why not get something for him? I mean their were reports yesterday that four teams contacted the Saints talking first round pick for Alvin Kamara. That is pricy for a running back, but obviously there are several teams unhappy!

We think these five veterans could be cut/traded before cutdown day.

Jaleel Scott – Scott was drafted in the fourth round. The Ravens are stacked and last year Scott barely saw the field. Jets once again make sense, they are struggling at WR and only have a few players. Another team thin at WR is the Niners.

Daesean Hamilton – I am not sure he would get traded but the Broncos could get a nice pick for him. I would definitely dangle him out there. The Broncos drafted Hamler and Jeudy. They are stacked at that position as well, so if you can get a good pick you have to at least listen right?

Jamaal Williams – Packers running back room is stacked. Williams is in a jam packed room and I would not be surprised if the Packers put him on the block. Packers love AJ Dillion and Aaron Jones. Dexter Williams is a good back and to me Williams is the odd man out. But Williams has starting experience. Maybe the Jaguars?
