Former Browns wide receiver Ricky Feacher arrested in Florida on drug charges
Man, do you remember the Kardiac Kids? Do you remember Brian Sipe and the Cleveland Browns? Ricky Feacher the former standout wide receiver for the Browns was a talented player. Now, he has a problem with drugs.
Feacher has been working as a substitute teacher, and was even coaching football players in Florida, but this week has not been a good one for the former Brown.
The nine year NFL veteran was arrested on September 13, 2020 for drug possession. This is not the first time though. Feacher was arrested in 2013 on drug possession and resisting arrest.
Feacher still holds the record for the fastest 100 yard dash 9.6, and was a star football player for the Hernando High School Leopards, located in Brooksville, Florida.
He would end up playing college at Mississippi Valley State University and was drafted in the 10th round of the 1976 NFL Draft. He was pick number 270.
On Monday this week Feacher, now 66, was caught with .33 grams of cocaine on him after getting arrested for drugs the night before. They found the drugs on him in the intake room of the correctional facility.
I hope and pray Ricky Feacher can get some help because he was a great wide receiver in the NFL for the Browns. The former HBCU standout had his bond set at 2,000 dollars.
