Mississippi State QB K.J. Costello becomes the first SEC QB EVER to throw for 600 yards in one game

Mississippi State quarterback KJ. Costello just broke a record against the NCAA National Champion LSU Tigers.
Do you know what that record was?
Costello became the first SEC QB to ever pass for 600 yards in a game.
LSU is just the 4th defending champion in the last 60 seasons to lose their season opener at home and first since Notre Dame in 1978. K.J. Costello had 623 passing yards, the most in a game in SEC history and the 11th-most in a game in FBS history.
K.J. Costello had 12 completions today that went for more than 20 yards. That is wild!
WOW, BIG UPS TO MIKE LEACH!
