Breaking: Jaguars are expected to sign DB Josh Nurse to their Practice Squad
We are learning that Josh Nurse is expected to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad after a wonderful workout. Nurse signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft.
Nurse was a starting cornerback last year for Utah after playing primarily on special teams his first two seasons. He walked on to the team during the 2017 preseason camp and received a scholarship
He began his Ute career at receiver before moving to safety and then corner.
Today the Jaguars, worked out the 6030, 200 pound Fayetteville, Georgia native and were blown away. Nurse will sign with the Jaguars practice squad where he will have a great shot at getting called up to the 53 man roster.
