Arizona high school football standout Zach Plunk died from an accidental fentanyl overdose

Zach Plunk was one bad ass football player. He played running back and linebacker for Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. We found this little highlight clip of Zach making plays all over the field.
It is with deep sadness, we have to inform you that Zach passed away. According to his parents, the standout football star with hopes of playing ball at Baylor, died of an accidental fentanyl overdose.
We want to take a second to send a message to our youth. Right now, many of you are experimenting with drugs and trying to fit in with crowds. This is not the way to find friends. If people are pressuring you into doing drugs or doings something you do not like, stick up to them. I feel so bad for Plunk’s family. He is a young kid, and according to several reports he had been using for quite some time.
The earth lost a great football player, son, and friend with this death. He was a star at Hamilton, and this is such a horrible thing that happened. Please stop kids, you are valuable to someone. Think of your families. Stop thinking of yourself.
We ask that you please take a moment and pray for the Plunk family. This has to be a horrible thing they are going through. Losing a child is not easy, but we need to pray for them and lift them up. Please pray for them.
