Sais Fonongaloa was a big defensive lineman for the Cal Poly defense. He was recently arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after he reportedly chased a woman with a knife and a frying pan during a house party.
The police report says the victim received injuries to her forehead and back.
Fonongaloa was on the football roster for 2019 but Cal Poly’s website shows he is no longer on the team.
