The Best WR in the 2021 NFL Draft has opted out of the season

Ja'Marr Chase
LSU wide out Ja’Marr Chase has decided to opt out of the 2020 season.

Ja’Marr Chase from LSU is by far the top receiver in the draft. This weekend Chase decided to opt out of the 2020 college football season to concentrate on his professional career.

There is expected to be a formal announcement today by the star Tigers wide out. The 6000, 208 pound wide receiver from Harvey, Louisiana played two seasons at LSU.

We think Ja’Marr Chase will be a top five pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and I would be shocked to see him drop out of the top 10.

Chase is only a junior, but is easily the most notable college football player to opt out of the 2020 season, so far. Micah Parsons is a top tier player as well that opted out, but I think Chase is ranked higher.

Chase was a First Team All-America selection who set SEC records last season for touchdown catches (20) and receiving yards (1,780). He also won the Biletnikoff Award given annually to the nation’s best receiver.

This is a major move for college football, but could there be more? With the way everything is moving this will be one of the most interesting seasons ever.
