Georgia HS Football player Cenquez Perry shot and killed by someone outside his apartment

According to reports out of Georgia, 17-year-old Brooks County High football player Cenquez Perry was believed to have been shot while he was sleeping inside of his apartment from someone outside.

The report says Perry was transported to South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta where he later died from injuries related to the shooting.

According to WTXL, At 1:51 am Georgia Bureau of Investigators were called to an apartment complex in Quitman, Georgia. The investigators believe that the 17-year-old football standout was shot several times through the outside walls of his apartment building while sleeping.

Investigators recovered multiple shell casings outside the apartment and Perry’s body will be sent for an autopsy.

We ask that you please keep the Perry family and the friends of Cenquez in your prayers tonight. Another solid football player with ambitions of going to college shot and killed in a senseless murder. Please pray for the family.
