Utah State suspends Offensive Lineman Ty Shaw for racist SnapChat message

Utah State has suspended offensive lineman Ty Shaw for his racist Snapchat comments.
Shaw, is an upcoming senior that made nine starts last season at left guard. It was posted on his Snapchat and it was recorded and posted via an Instagram story.
This is what was said:
“Honestly I don’t really care to educate myself on (expletive) that doesn’t matter. Y’all have months dedicated to ur oppressed asses and still so greedy to have more purely cause history didn’t treat ur ancestors right. Y’all think ur above everyone else now but acting like you don’t have (expletive). Crazy how y’all people think.”
A statement was released by Utah State’s athletic director and head coach in a joint statement.
“We have been made aware of inappropriate racial comments made by a current student-athlete on our football team,” Utah State athletic director John Hartwell and head football coach Gary Andersen released in a joint statement. “This will not be tolerated and we have suspended the individual immediately, and pending an investigation will take appropriate action, per 24/7 Sports.”
The craziest thing, is he blocked last year for Jordan Love, a black quarterback. I do not know what was on Ty Shaw’s mind. Pretty wild!
