NFL released a PSA on the death of 22 year old unarmed black man Stephon Clark

Stephon Clark
Stephon Clark the unamarmed black man from Sacramento that was shot and killed by police is the focus of the NFL right now.

Stephon Clark was a 22 year old unarmed black man who was shot and killed by Sacramento, California in his grandma’s backyard.

Well, today the National Football League released a public service announcement around the death of Stephon.

He was killed March 18, 2018. Clark was shot eight times by two officers who later said they mistook his cellphone for a gun as he moved toward them with his arms extended, ignoring their commands, while in his grandmother’s backyard. Twenty rounds were fired in total, according to police.

I think the NFL is going to be a lot more of this as the year moves on. This was such a sad incident.

The video is the fifth produced by Roc Nation and the NFL to help raise awareness in communities to end systemic racism. Roc Nation is Jay-Z’s artist and athlete management company. Roc Nation has at least 12 clients in the NFL.
