Ex-Hawaii defensive tackle Kendall Hune was arrested for 4 counts of sexual assault

Kendall Hune
Former Hawaii defensive lineman Kendall Hune has been arrested for four counts of sexual assault.

Kendall Hune is a big boy who played football at Eastern Arizona College and Marian University before landing an opportunity with Hawaii.

As a junior, Hune played in all 14 games for UH and finished with 40 tackles which was second most among defensive lineman. That is quite a bit of tackles for a defensive tackle.

As a senior, Kendall continued to have a solid career at Hawaii. He started in 12 games and notched 21 tackles and a forced fumble. Hune was doing everything to try to earn an opportunity to play at the next level, but he will now have some legal troubles to get through.

The 6030, 285 pound defensive lineman was arrested this week and charged with 4 counts of sexual assault, according to KITV. As of last night, he was still in police custody and his bail was set at $50,000.

Remember this, we are innocent until proven guilty. I have to say this because we have seen charges similar to this get thrown out, but it still ruins a players career and aspirations.
