What is the best restaurant in your hometown city? 

• The best restaurant in my hometown of Buckeye, AZ is definitely the Wild West Steakhouse.

When breaking down your film what will stick out? 

• My snaps, footwork, hand placement then assignment.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? 

• I would take care of my mother as she did for me when I was younger.

What has been your biggest failure? 

• My biggest failure is that I couldn’t spend more time with my family. 

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

• My work ethic, leadership and willingness to do whatever it takes to win.

• Darren Hicks

• Dastino Heat but my friends just say Dastino.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job? 

• Physical Education and being a College Football Coach.

What is your coolest life moment? 

• When I found out that my best friend was going to college with me.

• Good Life by Kanye west feat. T-Pain…. I got to redeem myself.

• Beware: I might say something that may come across wrong.

• My biggest fear is that I won’t be happy.

• Austin Ekeler 

Take us through game day, How do you prepare? 

• I do a series of gameday rituals the day before and get about 4-5 hours of sleep. Then, I wake up go straight to breakfast or lunch, go home grab my gameday socks, tights and ear phones to listen to music. Afterwards I head to the locker room with the boys and chill out until I can go get taped and get ready for pre game. 

Do you have any hobbies? 

• I play video games with my friends and go out and about when I can. 

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be? 

• Joe Thomas, because the only time I’ve ever missed a snap is if a DL rips my helmet off. 

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

• My mother because she came from Mexico with nothing and after 27 years she has everything she ever wanted. 

What motivates you to work hard?

• My desire to win.
