U.S. Congressman from Massachusetts wants the Patriots to sign Colin Kaepernick

Joe Kennedy III an attorney and Massachusetts Democrat wants the NFL to apologize to Colin Kaepernick and get this he wants his hometown Patriots to sign the veteran quarterback.
“The NFL should apologize to Colin Kaepernick and the Patriots should sign him,” the congressman wrote.
Representative Kennedy III is sending a message to Roger Goodell the NFL’s commissioner who finally apologized for failing to listen to the players years ago.
With everything going on right now with Black Lives Matter and the movement happening from NFL players, I think it would be a great step in the right direction for the NFL who can right their wrongs.
Kaepernick has not played for years, but I would still take him on my roster over Brian Hoyer. The Patriots quarterbacks at this time are Jarrett Stidham, Brian Hoyer, Brian Lewerke and J’Mar Smith. At this point you cannot tell me Kaepernick would not be the best player on the roster at the quarterback position.
I doubt the Patriots do this, but it is funny to see politicians trying to talk football.
