Seattle Seahwks wanted to sign Colin Kaepernick two years ago. They scheduled a workout with him then cancelled it last minute when he told them he would not stop kneeling. If Pete Carroll is serious about change, he should give Kaep a workout.
I am not sure I believe Pete Carroll too much, but today he said that an NFL Head Coach called him today asking about Colin Kaepernick.
Pete Carroll said he got a call from a head coach/GM (Carroll didn't specify who or which position) today regarding Colin Kaepernick.
Carroll is saying that a team is interested in Kaepernick, but here is my question, why not the Seahawks? The Seahawks quarterbacks are Russell Wilson, Geno Smith and Anthony Gordon.
Kaepernick was not signed by the Seahawks back in 2017 because Carroll said he thought Kaepernick was a starter.
Well, today Carroll is saying he is happy with his quarterbacks.
Pete Carroll was asked about whether #Seahawks would consider Colin Kaeprrnick now. “I like our setup right now,” he said. Seattle has Geno Smith and rookie UDFA Anthony Gordon. “It’s not really available at this time for us.”
