The first-team All-CAA selection started all 12 games at left guard for the Wildcats last season. Grattan and company ranked seventh nationally in fewest sacks allowed for offensive line units.

When you watch the tape on Grattan you see instantly just how physical of a blocker he is. Grattan finishes every block, destroying defenders to the ground on every snap. Just from watching the tape you can see how passionate he is for the game.

His ability to play both guard and center will help out his draft stock in 2021. Expect Grattan to generate some buzz this season, and don’t be surprised if you hear his name come draft day.

NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes:

Paul Grattan can play multiple positions on the offensive line, and that will impress NFL teams. Versatility is key at the next level and Grattan can play both guard positions and center. He reminds me of Gino Gradkowski the former Delaware Blue Hen that was drafted a few years back by the Ravens. Keep an eye on him. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds Owner
