2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Malik Fisher, DE, Villanova University

The 6-foot-4, 255-pound defensive playmaker is a problem for opposing offensive lines in college football. Malik Fisher has above average pass rushing skills for the Wildcats and provides speed and strength to Villanova’s defensive front.
In 3 seasons for the Wildcats, Fisher has 63 total tackles, including 20.5 tackles for loss. He also has 15 sacks, five pass deflections and six forced fumbles.
The CAA All-Conference honoree finished last season with a career-high in tackles and sacks with 30 and seven respectively. Now entering his senior season, Fisher anchors down a line that should cause problems around the league. Expect to hear more about Fisher as the season starts in August. He is a beast on the defensive line and has the framework to play at the next level.
NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes:
Malik Fisher has NFL size and has a knack of wreaking havoc on opposing quarterbacks. His size is prototypical NFL size at 6040 and 255 pounds. An NFL scout contact me about him two weeks ago and said Damond, Malik Fisher is my sleeper this year. I love his ability to play the run and get after the quarterback. I have to agree with him. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds Owner
