Hampton University OT Keldrick Wilson transfers to Pitt

The Pittsburgh Panthers are landing a mammoth of a man in the transfer portal. Offensive Tackle Keldrick Wilson the 6050, 299 pound starting tackle from Hampton is headed to play his final year at Pitt.
Wilson chose Pitt over other finalists Indiana, USC and West Virginia. He played in 11 games this past year for the Pirates.
Keldrick is a smart kid too, he recently made the Dean’s List at Hampton University along with 11 other Pirate football players. His dream is to play in the NFL, and he is trying to set himself up by showing he can compete at the highest level.
Wilson will have tons of action against Pitt DT Jaylen Twyman
Wilson saw his first action at Hampton as a redshirt freshman in 2017, as he played in 10 games and started two. That season, the Pirates offense averaged 321.5 yards per game, 148.5 of which came on rushes.
Wilson saw no action the following season but returned to the field in 2019 to start 11 games for a Hampton team that went 5-7 and averaged 407.3 yards per game, including 172.3 rushing yards per game.
