Please keep Cam Wilson in your prayers
Yesterday was Mother’s Day, this is a horrible and sad way to have to spend the day. I feel horrible for Cam Wilson, who has been quite the player for the Hoosiers.
Wilson, a walk-on transfer from Illinois State, appeared in three games for the Hoosiers in 2019. He was named IU’s scout team player of the week leading up to a win over Nebraska and special teams player of the week for IU’s win over Northwestern. Wilson red shirted the 2017 season and sat out in 2018 due to the NCAA’s transfer rules.
Cam was a two-time captain and all-conference selection at Columbus East High School in southern Indiana. He had 72 receptions, 2,150 receiving yards, 900 kick return yards and 27 total touchdowns for his high school career. He was named an Indiana Football Coaches Association All-Star in 2016.
