2021 NFL Draft Prospect: Alani Pututau, DE, Adams State University

Alani Pututau is not normal. The kid is a freak!
I have been breaking down film of Division 2 players and he is by far one of the best pass rushers in the entire league. He shoots out of a cannon off the edge. He is so vicious and he can sniff out a play before it happens.
The game that really caught my eye was the Western Colorado game where he erupted for 5 quarterback sacks in one game. I just could not believe how bad he was abusing the offensive lineman.
Check out Alani’s Highlights
Edge rusher Alani Pututau was named First Team All-RMAC for his devastating play on the defensive side of the ball, wreaking havoc in opponent backfields all year long. With 24.5 tackles for loss on the year in 11 games, Pututau averaged 2.2 TFL’s per contest, making him the NCAA Division II statistical champion in the Tackles for Loss Per-Game category.
Pututau is entering his senior year and hopes to dominate in 2020. He is a First Team All-RMAC as well as Second Team All-Region honors.
NFL Draft Diamonds Scouting Notes:
Alani is a freak, who is tough as nails. I have watched videos of this kid dunking a basketball, playing rugby, and almost breaking a running back’s neck when he flipped him in the air. Pututau is a mean and aggressive pass rusher. You better get some hands-on him if you want to slow him down, if not, expect a monstrous day from the Adams State superstar. – Damond Talbot, NFL Draft Diamonds Owner
