LSU’s LB Patrick Queen scores a 24 on wonderlic exam, Isaiah Simmons not as impressive

The wonderlic exam does not measure much, but it is used by NFL teams. Today, Bob McGinn of the Athletic reported the wonderlic scores of the top linebackers in the 2020 NFL draft class.
The wild thing is Isaiah Simmons who dominated the athletic part of the Combine struggled with the wonderlic. Patrick Queen and Kenneth Murray on the other hand did a little better scoring in the 20’s.

Tanner Muse who is a safety/linebacker prospect scored the highest of everyone with a 26.
- Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson – 12 out of 50
- Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma – 21 out of 50
- Patrick Queen, LB, LSU – 24 out of 50
- Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin – 24 out of 50
- Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech – 10 out of 50
- Willie Gay, LB, Mississippi State – 14 out of 50
- Logan Wilson, LB, Wyomings – 16 out of 50
- Tanner Muse, LB/S, Clemson – 26 out of 50
