2021 NFL Draft Prospect: J’Von Brown, OL, Central Connecticut State

The 5th year senior gets one last chance to make his mark in the NEC Conference this upcoming season. J’Von Brown returns to anchor down the offensive line for the Blue Devils in 2020. The dominating offensive line unit paved the way for the Blue Devils in 2019, as they rushed for 213 yards per game averaging 33 points a game along the way.
In 2017, Brown earned First Team All-Northeast Conference honors playing a huge role in an offensive line that was tied ninth nationally for allowing only nine sacks all season.
J’Von Brown Interview
While lineman like Brown don’t turn up on the stat sheet often, his impact has been noted. Brown was granted a 5th year of eligibility this season, and the 6-foot-3, 350 pound lineman bullies defensive lineman to the ground.
Brown was a STATS Preseason FCS All-American in 2019, and primarily started at LG for the Blue Devils. With NFL teams boosting up their offensive lines every season, expect Brown to hear his name called in 2021.
Scouting Notes
J’Von is a mauler for the Blue Devils offensive line. He is the leader of the line and paved the way for some huge games on the ground over the past few years. J’Von only played in four games last year after suffering an injury, but he has 37 starts. He is a grinder on the O-Line and a player who will shut down your star pass rusher. This will be a huge year for him to rebound and prove he is NFL worthy. – Damond Talbot, Owner of NFL Draft Diamonds
