Saints are close to an agreement with QB Jameis Winston
The New Orleans Saints drafted a quarterback yesterday in Tommy Stevens, places a first round tender on Taysom Hill and now they signed free agent quarterback Jameis Winston.
It sounds like Sean Payton and the Saints are going to do everything they can to find a replacement for Drew Brees.
Jameis Winston is finalizing a deal to make him a Saint and we are hearing the deal is a very reasonable price.
Last year, Jameis led the entire NFL in passing yards and was not re-signed after the Patriots signed Tom Brady. Jameis has a chip on his shoulder, I would not be surprised to see his career take off in New Orleans.
