5 teams that need to call the Jets for S Jamal Adams
Today, Adam Schefter reported that New York Jets safety Jamal Adams will be placed on the trade block and we are going to look at five teams that could use Adams services right now and need to call the Jets.
Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles love to wheel and deal and let’s face it Jalen Mills is not the answer. They did sign Will Parks this off-season but he is a back-up safety. Adding a safety like Adams is a huge move and they would land one of the best safeties in the entire NFL. This is a Howie move, and makes sense.
Indianapolis Colts – The Colts have cap room and the Colts are not afraid to make moves. I could see the Colts giving up some future picks to land Jamal Adams. Adams would be an immediate starter over Khari Willis at this point. I think this is one of the better fits for Adams.
Houston Texans – If you are the Jets and are not calling the Texans you are doing yourself an injustice. Bill O’Brien has made some of the worst trades the past few years. Shoot who knows what the Jets could come up with. Adams is an immediate starter over Tashaun Gipson.
Cincinnati Bengals – The Bengals have Shaun Williams but he is in a contract year. I think Adams for the 1st pick in the 2nd round and something else could probably get the deal done for Adams. It is not a contender but shoot neither are the Jets.
Dallas Cowboys – I know the Cowboys recently signed Ha-Ha Clinton Dix, but I think if you put Dix back there with Adams they would be nasty. Adams would love to play for the Cowboys and the Cowboys will likely pick a secondary player with their first round pick. Could this be the move?
I would not be surprised if Adams is traded soon, he has worn out his welcome in New York.
