As an athlete, what is your motivation?

My motivation is my Christ and my family. Always representing my last name in everything I do.

What defines success for you?

Success is emptying the tank and putting everything you have into what you want to be successful at. Winning is the measurable but I won’t feel successful unless I feel like I have put my all into it.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

My teammates would say I am a leader by example and strive to be the best at everything I do.

What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?

One of the personal rules that I follow is never making decisions based off of my emotions.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

Emeka Emezie, NC State WR.

Who is the best player in the NFL?

Tom Brady.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

Carolina Panthers because it is the hometown team.

By signing up you can receive a free stock and could land a free stock of Apple, Ford, or Facebook. It is simple and costs you nothing to sign-up.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

Accepting the outcome and learning from the situation.

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

I loved watching Sean Taylor and how he was almost always around the ball.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?

Hydrate! So many athletes don’t live up to their potential just because of being dehydrated.

What is your go-to restaurant near campus?

O’Neill’s Grill.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“Balance.”

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

Russ.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

Barack Obama because he is the epitome of what every African-American strives to be in America. You know you made it when you get to meet Obama.

Forty-years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered for continuing the Smith Legacy and helping out people in need.

In 15 words or less, why should an NFL team invest in you?

I’m a leader who strives to be great in everything I do and understands winning.
