Noel Ruiz the standout kicker from NC A&T transferred to Georgia State for his final season.

Georgia State landed an FCS All-American kicker when Noel Ruiz opted to transfer from North Carolina A&T for his final season.

Ruiz, a 5-foot-11, 187-pound native of Wilson, N.C., announced his decision on Twitter.

Ruiz was named to the first unit on the All-MEAC team and was named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America team.

Ruiz is one of the best small school kickers in the 2021 NFL Draft. This is a huge loss for the Aggies.
