Former Bucs draft pick Johnthan Banks arrested on domestic violence charges
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers draft pick and former Mississippi State cornerback Johnthan Banks was arrested early Wednesday morning on charges of domestic violence and aggravated assault.
Banks had a bond of 10,000 dollars.
Banks won the Jim Thorpe Award with the Bulldogs in 2012 as the best defensive back in the country and was named an All-American.
Remember, he was a second round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 but hasn’t played in the NFL since 2017. Banks played 57 games over a five-year career in the NFL in which he recorded seven interceptions.
