Breaking: Steelers sign XFL sack leader Cavon Walker to one year deal
We are learning that Cavon Walker the defensive tackle from the New York Guardians has signed a one year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Finding a defensive tackle that can get to the quarterback is hard, but Walker was super impressive.
He finished the XFL with 19 tackles but 4.5 of them were sacks and 5 were tackles for loss. He also has 9 quarterback hits. Walker was the sack leader of the XFL.
The 6020, 284 pound pass rusher is just 25 years old, and with the Steelers losing Javon Hargrave in free agency to the Eagles this helps their defensive line.
Walker was fun to watch and one of the only bright spots for the Guardians.
