Howard University WR Jequez Ezzard has entered the transfer portal?
Jequez Ezzard is one of the top wide receivers in the FCS and now he is entering the Transfer Portal.
Jequez Ezzard is a 2 time first-team all-MEAC wide out, and was also named an FCS All-American in 2018, in which he totaled 40 catches for 1,064 yards and 12 TDs. He missed almost the entire 2019 season due to injury, and now he is transferring to another school as a grad-transfer?
Ezzard is a speedster who maybe a little small at 5’9, but this kid will make you miss and is not afraid of contact. The Hapeville Charter High School grad from College Park, Georgia has had a pretty amazing career.
In his true freshman year he played in four games, recorded 2 receptions for 27 yards and added help on special teams adding 13 kick returns for 272 yards.
In 2017, Ezzard was named to the All-Conference first team after dominating the MEAC all 11 games he played in. He racked up 895 yards on 34 receptions with six touchdowns. He finished with six 100 yard games finishing third in the country with 26.3 yards per reception.
Last year, Jequez won almost every award known to man. He finished on the Walter Payton Offensive Player of the Year Award Watch List, and finished with 40 receptions and 12 touchdowns. He racked up 1,064 yards receiving. He finished with five 100 yard games and a pair of 200 yard games. This kid is a stud, and he will help any team that offers him.
