So the XFL is about to start in less than a week. The players are ready, the fans are buying tickets left and right and Vegas is ready too! Yep, DraftKings has teamed up with the XFL and they released their top players for week 1 and there is a surprise in my opinion for the top spot.
Josh Johnson the 33 year old journeyman is the top dog for week 1. Johnson has been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Houston Texans, Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, and the Detroit Lions. Despite playing for thirteen teams during his NFL career, he did not win his first game as a starter until his 11th season as a member of the Redskins in 2018.
So can the aging veteran lead the league in points? That is interesting, but it will be great to see how they do. I also broke down the team they think will have the best defense, because I find it interesting.
