Could the Dallas Cowboys bring back Dez Bryant? They have talked…
Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant wants to return to the NFL, he has stated it over and over on Twitter, and is even willing to take a role player position with a team. According to the Star-Telegram, Dez has even texted Stephen Jones about a possible return with the Cowboys.
“He has texted me that he would like to come back,” team vice president Stephen Jones said Thursday. “We have nothing but great respect for Dez and what he accomplished here. Certainly, as we look forward into the future we look at all opportunities and all potential players that could maybe help us out.”
Jones stated that the Cowboys have not made any plans as of yet on Bryant as but they will meet with new head coach Mike McCarthy about the personnel.
This would be kind of cool, especially if Dez can face against the Giants who recently hired Jason Garrett as their offensive coordinator. Bryant spent last year out of the league following a 2018 Achilles tear. He is only 31 years old, and this move makes a ton of sense.
