Youth Football coach in California arrested on child porn charges
I am so sick of seeing this, it is happening more and more around the world. We need to come up with a better way to vet our coaches that deal with our children in not just sports, but activities after school.
On Friday, a youth football coach in Marin County, California was arrested for child pornography. John Baptist deLorimier, 72, of Bolinas was booked into the county jail with a bail amount set at $1 million.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office opened the investigation last month based on information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The center’s hotline received a tip about alleged child porn being transmitted over the internet.
Investigators traced searches to a home to deLorimier’s house.
