As an athlete, what is your motivation?

My motivation is my family. I want to make them proud of me and prove to them that all of their hard work raising me paid off and to able to provide for my family in the future.

What defines success for you?

To me success is being the best version of myself and being everything I know I can be.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

My teammates would say I’m selfless and a hard worker who pushes himself and those around him to be great.

What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?

A couple of rules are to never jeopardize my football career and to always get better each day either physically or mentally.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

The toughest player I’ve played against in the running back from Wagner College, #3. (Ryan Fulse)

Who is the best player in the NFL?

The best player in the NFL is Aaron Donald.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

My team on Madden is the Atlanta Falcons because they have weapons on both sides of the ball that are hard to stop no matter what you do against them.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

I handle failure by thinking of everything as a lesson. If something doesn’t go in my favor I think of it as a learning experience and a way to better myself in the future.

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

I usually take bits and pieces from a few different defensive linemen but I try to model most of my game after DeForest Buckner.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?

I would tell myself to train just as hard off the field as I do on the field.

What is your go-to restaurant near campus?

Zaxby’s is my go-to restaurant.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“Breaking Barriers.”

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

I Write Sins Not Tragedies – Panic! At the Disco.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

I would want to have dinner with Bobby Seal to talk to him about the things he experienced while being in the Black Panthers.

Forty-years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered as one of the most impactful defensive linemen in the history of football.
