New York Giants have fired head coach Pat Shurmur, the Browns axed Freddie Kitchens, the Redskins fired GM Bruce Allen and there could be more coming.
The Browns have already requested an interview with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels while the former Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is about to become the Redskins new head coach.
The coaching carousel is going to be fun to watch, and some guys are finally getting interview requests. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media Insiders is reporting that Eric Bieniemy the Chiefs offensive coordinator will sit down with the Carolina Panthers.
There was a report this morning that the Giants will not fire GM Dave Gettleman so he will have to find a new head coach soon as well.
The Panthers have been busy looking for a head coach and they have interviewed former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy twice.
Baylor’s head coach Matt Rhule is a hot name but he has reportedly already told the Browns he is not interested in coaching there. He will however meet with the Panthers about their open position.
We will see if the Cowboys will fire Jason Garrett, but there could still be more changes coming. Today could have more hirings and firings so stay tuned.
