Browns need to trade Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry and start fresh

The Cleveland Browns on paper are amazing, the Cleveland Browns live are horrible. The team right now has bad management in my honest opinion, and a lot of locker room drama.

There were reports this week that Jarvis Landry was screaming to the Cardinals sideline to come trade for him after their loss this past weekend to rookie quarterback Kyler Murray. That move may need to actually happen if the Browns need to win.

I am a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan and I undercover love the Browns because they have so much in common with the Bills. An amazing fanbase that deserves so much more attention then they receive. They are dedicated, I mean they had a parade a couple years ago when they lost every game of the season.

The fans deserve a lot better, but the team needs to stop looking at the best player motto and start looking at the who buys in motto. I am not sure I love Freddie Kitchens as the head coach, but if they are going to stick with him they better get rid of some of the drama and let him be a leader that they are paying him to be. Right now Kitchens is getting overpowered on the sidelines and in the locker room with big name players, yet some of the younger players are sick of it.

Nick Chubb is balling this year, Kareem Hunt is playing extremely well, Rashard Higgins is their best receiver, all are young players who buy into the system. Higgins will be a free agent, instead of giving Landry and Beckham money, give Higgins money. Build your offensive line the same way the Buffalo Bills did. They gave money to everyone in the off-season and protected their quarterback.

When Baker Mayfield has time he will hit his wide outs. The Browns can trade Odell and his contract and next year is the year to do it. Teams are looking for wide outs and Odell has 4 years left on his deal. Landry on the other hand has three more years left and the Browns can probably get a couple firsts for both wide outs.

The Browns will have cap space next year as well if they make these moves. Browns need to run out and re-sign Rashard Higgins then sign A.J. Green, or Amari Cooper. Two quiet guys who can get the job done. They can also teach Higgins.

The Browns need to make quality moves, and moves that will not set them back. People that buy into the system. I think the Browns are a playoff caliber team, but they are dealing with too much right now with Odell and Jarvis. Let the headache leave.

Imagine if the Bills would have traded for Antonio Brown? Would their culture been the same? I doubt it, sometimes you do not need so much drama in your locker room.
