Tua Tagovailoa had to be taken by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Medical Center

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa was injured badly today, and according to reports, he was not taken by Ambulance, he was flown by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Tua was going to get pulled out the game, but wanted to play one more drive and this happened.

Man, this is crazy. Nick Saban was going to take Tua Tagovailoa out before this possession. Tua talked him into letting him get one more drive, and now he's being attended to by Alabama training staff after getting hurt. Very unfortunate.

Here is how the injury looked:

Tua started the game 9 for 9 passing for 193 yards and 2 touchdowns.

They believe Tua has a bad right hip injury.

Tua Tagovailoa injury similar to Bo Jackson injury. Hip subluxation/dislocation puts femoral head at risk of loosing blood supply and dying. Need to get hip back in place gently ASAP and remove pressure from joint.
