South Carolina Gamecock specialist arrested for DUI
A University of South Carolina reserve kicker/punter was charged with driving under the influence Saturday morning, according to the Columbia Police Department.
Michael Almond, 23, is charged with DUI and driving too fast for conditions.
Almond is a walk-on who is in his fifth season with the Gamecock program. He is a solid reserve who can punt and kickoff, and has appeared in four games during his collegiate career, logging two punts and one kickoff.
