HBCU Spirit of America Bowl: Four players who dominated week 12
DeAndre Harris, QB, Morgan State – I am a fan of Morgan State because they have so many play makers. Harris is a 6040 gunslinger from Washington, Georgia who had a great week in week 12. He threw for 317 yards and five touchdowns. His favorite target was Manasseh Bailey who is a regular on our list. We are going to give his QB credit today even though he did finish with 177 yards and four touchdowns this week.
Johnny Rembert, WR, Virginia Lynchburgh and Said Sidebe, WR, Virginia Lynchburg – Virginia Lynchburg is a small D2 school but I wanted to give both their wide outs some love. They played a very solid Morgan State team but both Rembert and Sidebe finished the game with two touchdowns. Rembert had 5 receptions for 186 yards and Sidebe had 169 yards receiving on four receptions. Both of these kids played lights out and I wanted to recognize them.
Jordan Bentley, RB, Alabama A&M – Are you kidding? You think I could forget this kid? He finished the game with 245 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns. Yes, he maybe the best running back in the HBCU, he has been doing this week in and week out. Bentley has my attention, and he is a stud.
