As an athlete, what is your motivation?

My motivation is my family. Seeing what my mom and grandma went through when I was a kid, it motivates me to keep working because what I’m doing right now is bigger than me.

What defines success for you?

Claiming a blessing, going out and working to put yourself in the best position to receive it, and then finally attaining it.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

A reserved guy that leads by example on and off the field and comes to work every day with everything he’s got to better himself and others.

What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?

Be true to your word. If you say you’re going to do something, make sure you do it.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

Braden Smith, Auburn (Colts).

Currently, who is the best player in the NFL?

Aaron Donald, LA Rams.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

Atlanta Falcons.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

Handling failure can be tough sometimes. I ultimately reflect back to my life and how much I’ve been blessed with. I go back to what my DL coach Jeremy Hawkins told me, “To remain in control of your mind you have to control what you can control. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back to work, chipping away at your goal until you finally get it.”

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

Over the years I’ve tried to pull a little bit from players who I’ve played with and players who I watched in the league. I model my confidence in my ability to play from what I learned from playing with Alvin Kamara and Lorenzo Carter. Nothing phases them! They are always locked in when they step into the building. On the field, I’ve taken a little from Mike Daniels and Jurrell Casey.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions that will help give you a clear understanding of what you’re doing on the field. Ask for help early and often. Lastly, put a bigger emphasis on getting your body in peak condition year-round.

What is your go-to restaurant near campus?

H&H Restaurant.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“KIT: The Journey of Dorian Kithcart.”

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

Teyana Taylor.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

Probably my grandfather Hazel “Sonny” Kithcart. He passed away when my mom was in high school and my mother and grandmother say I always remind them of him so I would love a chance to have dinner with him.

Forty-years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

A son, a father, and a husband that loves with all his heart and gave his all for the betterment of others.

In 15 words or less, why should an NFL team invest in you?

I’m a hardworking, passionate and accountable guy that will add accruing value to the organization.
