Former Lions draft pick Charles Rogers is dead at the age of 38
According to a report from Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, former Michigan State star Charles Rogers, who played three seasons with the Detroit Lions, has passed away.
Rogers (38), was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft after an outstanding career at Michigan State. He lasted in the league just three years after a series of injuries and substance abuse policy infractions.
This is sad news.
