Former USF defensive back who testified against Ex-LEO Amber Guyger shot and killed
Joshua Brown a former defensive back for South Florida was shot and killed days after testifying against ex-Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger.
Former Bulls cornerback Kayvon Webster, who currently is a free agent in the NFL and played with Brown during the 2012 season, tweeted late Saturday: “Another USF brother gone too soon!”
The newspaper reported that authorities said Joshua Brown, who lived in the same apartment complex as Amber Guyger and Botham Jean, was shot and killed Friday in Dallas.
Please keep his family in your prayers. Brown appeared in eight games, making one start at Ball State, he recorded 11 tackles and one TFL on the year and had a season-high five tackles at Nevada.
