Former NFL player shot and killed in California
Terrell Roberts the former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back was shot and killed in his grandmother’s backyard, according to police reports.
Roberts played college ball at Oregon State University and appeared in 23 games for the Bengals in 2003-2004. The reports claims he was gunned down at a residence in Richmond, where the intruder entered the home, and shot him. According to reports, he was shot in his chest and died upon police arrival.
Roberts was 38 years old, and according to reports had no known enemies.
No arrests have been made but the suspect is reportedly a black male, about 20 to 25 years old weighing 250 pounds plus pounds, and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.
