Five big time trades that we would love to see before the NFL’s trade deadline
We are a little over a month away from the NFL’s trade deadline. This year November 3rd, 2019 is the NFL’s Trade Deadline, and there are several players I could see getting traded and I wanted to create a few trade ideas that could change the scenario of the season.
Redskins OT Trent Williams traded to the New England Patriots for a 1st Round pick in 2020 and a 4th round pick of the Bears in 2020. The Redskins and two 2020 NFL draft picks for a player who does not want to be there, and the Patriots land an All-Pro Left Tackle. The Patriots strike gold once again, and let’s face it they basically give up a 1st round pick, because we all know they will land a third round pick for losing Trent Brown in free agency as a comp pick. The Patriots strike gold and this will allow them to make a huge push for the Super Bowl.
Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2020 first round pick and a 2021 first round pick. The Eagles are getting desperate and they should. Their cornerback play has been suspect. With Ronald Darby out and losing to the Lions, the team has to do something quickly. They get desperate and they feel they have enough of their guys locked down to trade their next two first round picks to land an All-Pro corner.
Redskins are not finished they trade CB Josh Norman to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2020 3rd round pick. This is basically a salary dump move. The Redskins want to clear space and the Chiefs want a solid cornerback. They know they need a corner who can help them down the road. Norman has struggled a bit but the Chiefs are betting that a change of scenery will do the trick.
Bengals trade WR AJ Green to the Buffalo Bills for a 2020 2nd round pick. The Buffalo Bills are starting off on a rampage. They are 3-0 and this week they face the red hot New England Patriots at home. AJ Green is one of the best wide outs in the NFL, but he has suffered from injuries in the past couple years. The Bills want a big target for Josh Allen, and this guy is a process type of guy. I feel Sean McDermott and the Bills will look to add a big name guy, and I feel Green is guy that fits the locker room and will help the growth of their young QB.
Broncos trade CB Chris Harris Jr. to the Jaguars for a 2020 3rd round draft pick. The Jaguars need to add another cornerback to their secondary after losing Jalen Ramsey, and they give AJ Bouye a solid replacement in Harris. The Broncos let the aging defensive back go, and the Jaguars add a replacement as they start a push to win the AFC South under the skills of the Minshew Mustache.
