Raiders poach LB Dakota Allen off Rams practice squad
The Oakland Raiders have signed LB Dakota Allen off the Los Angeles Rams practice squad.
Allen was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round (251st overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. Allen signed a four-year $2,594,288 contract with a signing bonus of $74,288 on June 7, 2019.
Allen was cut and placed on the Rams practice squad. Allen was a stud for the Rams in the preseason as he totaled 22 tackles and one pass deflection.
Allen had 249 combined tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, and 4 interceptions in three seasons with the Red Raiders.
In 2019 NFL Draft, a former star of Netflix’s Last Chance U made some history as the first regularly featured player from the show to be drafted.
