Former Bethune-Cookman Head coach arrested for depriving his ex-girlfriend to call 911 and battery
Brian Jenkins the former Bethune-Cookman head coach for five season was arrested in Volusia County, Florida after an altercation with an ex-girlfriend and was booked on three separate charges.
Jenkins was charged with depriving use of 911, battery and criminal mischief. The battery charge was labeled as domestic violence.
According to the report: Jenkins went to his ex-girlfriend’s house to talk about their breakup, when she told him to leave and went to call the police, he grabbed her phone and threw it across the room, breaking the phone. There was a struggle according to the report, but that is where the charges stem from.
Brian Jenkins coached Bethune-Cookman for 5 season before getting hired by Alabama State as their head coach. He was currently on the NCCU football staff and when we contacted the school they said he is no longer employed with them.
