Tell us about your hometown, and what you love most about it?

**Pasadena California, Very beautiful scenery home of the Rose Bowl Game “Grandaddy of them all”,Pasadena California a tough place to make it out of if you don’t have Goals and aspirations as a youth, so many ways to fail in the community by becoming a statistic as well as falling to hang violence. What I love most about my hometown is that everyone is very very talented in sports here, growing up I always had to compete for a spot simply because Pasadena is a place I can say some of the best athletes don’t make it out, but the ones that do make it, they happen to become big contributors to their Team.

List these three in order of importance and why: Film Study, Strength and Conditioning and Practice?

**The order of importance to me, (Film Study being the first one, Simply because you want to study what your doing, or study your opponent to know what you need to work on to be a step ahead.);

(**Secondly, I believe it is very important to practice for what you just studied for , so that you are able to now move accordingly against your opponent with being smart enough to know your opponents tendencies

(**Lastly I feel that strength and condition come in last so that once you have studied and practiced what you need to do you will be strong enough and fast enough to at least keep up with your opponent.)

What do you worry about, and why?

** What I worry about more often than not, If I will be able to bless my family and give back to the community I was raised in the way I want to;  Reasoning on why I worry about taking care of my family is because we are struggling and everyone is so distant because we are all trying to make ends meet so that Mom can stop working or that everyone but “ME” can stop working and that I am able to provide for myself and my family as well, I don’t like seeing my Brother having to get help on rent sometimes, I want to have it covered for him and I want to make sure my niece goes to college Debt free and be able to pay for it if she does not get a scholarship. I Don’t want to see my Family struggle.

Give me an example of when you failed at something.

**There are a few examples that I have been through to get me to be the man I am today, but the most memorable moment that I remember is when I did not graduate High school.

How did you react and how did you overcome failure?

**How I reacted was very shocking to myself as a man and it opened my eyes up to understanding myself a lot more, because I overcame failing high school by enrolling in a community college even after not graduating, I asked myself was this something I really wanted to do, and I knew I wanted to play football so I enrolled back into school.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

**My teammates would say my best quality is, Being a great person to be around, He is a very fun Teammate you never really see him on the down side of life.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

**All the guys that I have went up against are very great there is no one specific person who I remember looked different than what I have seen playing.

What would your career be if you couldn’t play football?

**What my career would be is a Health and fitness coach at my own Gym facility “Not Easily broken Fitness”

Room, desk, and car – which do you clean first?

**What I would clean first is my Room, My car, My Desk

If there was a disaster and you could either save three strangers or one family member, which would you choose and why?

**If there were a disaster and I had could save three strangers or a family member, I would choose and family member, I can trust that individual and will be able to count on that person before I can trust anyone else, in life or death situations things get so hectic that if you had just one person you knew that is enough comfort for the given moment.

If you could be any television or movie character, who would you be and why?

**If I can be any tv character or movie character, I would be inspector gadget, out of all of the movies I remember watching I have yet to see him die and he has so many different super powers that he can pretty much survive any situation.

Tell me about your biggest adversity in life and how you’ve dealt with or overcome it?

**The biggest adversity I feel like I had to face in life is when I was a junior in high school I was playing Quarterback and we happen to be playing the best team in our league and if we won we would advance to playoffs and they’d be eliminated, we could not find a groove all game we were trailing by 14 points the whole game, until the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter, I fought so hard to not let my team be let down because of me, our defense was playing a great game and it was left in my hands, and was able to compete a 56 yard touchdown pass to end the game with 10seconds left

What is your most embarrassing moment?

**What I feel my most embarrassing yet humbling moment was when I was going to get certified for pop Warner weight classification for your division so you can play. I had a report come in the mail that I did not think it would come on the week of our first game, turns out I got bad behavior reports and was talking a lot in class, my mom made me turn my jersey inside out and watch the whole game and give my team water, it was embarrassing because I spoke to my team before weigh in’s thinking I’d play.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

**The most memorable moment in my college career at my junior college is wining a championship At Mt.San Antonio.

**The song that best describes my work ethic is Black Eyed Peas-“Anxiety”, it is a song that describes how I will never give up on anything in life and I’m so ready for it I’m Working until I get it.

What is the most important trait you can have (Physical or Non-Physical) to help you succeed at the next level?

**The most important trait to have to succeed at the next level is the ability to be consistent in all facets of your game, if you have a hardworking routine stick to it and don’t go against what you know and what works, if you have practiced it enough it defeats the purpose of being considered in the next level.

If you could bring one person back from the dead for one day, who would it be and why?

If I had the ability to bring one person back from the dead, I would bring back my Grandfather Bishop Grant Simpson, reason being is because he knew how to hold a family together and keep everyone in contact with each other and on great terms and always happy with life when ever you were in his presence.

If you were to open a dance club, what would you name it?

**I am really not a night life type of guy, but if I did open up a dance club I would name it “Austin’s”

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

**In my personal opinion the most underrated player in the NFL is Jaydon Mickens, Who plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars, to me he gets overlooked simply because of size, but he is lethal in the slot as well on special teams.

Would you rather be liked or respected, and why?

**I would rather be Respected over liked, with self respect you demand respect from others just off your appearance, I want everyone in the world to like me but the way things work everyone most likely won’t, so respect is very big in my book. “You don’t have to like them but you still should respect them”

What player who had his career derailed by off-field issues do you feel for the most and why?

**There is one player that is a very big inspiration to me, he may have gotten derailed with distractions but he did not let that define him as a man, Tyrann Mathieu “HoneyBadger” he kept going and knew that their was light at the end of the tunnel even.

Do you love to win, or hate to lose?

**I love to Win

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

**The biggest influence in my life to me is my older brother and my Cousin Laron, They have always believed in me and everything I have been capable of, they always held me to a standard that I didn’t know I could reach me to keep on going with his great words of encouragement, they have always been very authentic in just about every situation.
