Malik McDowell claims he bought a 75,000 dollar stolen truck from a man for 3k on the streets
Malik McDowell began to sweat, turn pale and breath heavy when police asked him about the stolen 75,000 Ford F-150 Raptor that was in his garage.
The former second round pick of the Seahawks told police he bought it from a random man on the street for 5,000 dollars, but man was he nervous. He was so nervous he changed his 5,000 dollars story to say he only paid 3,000 for the vehicle.
According to police, the vehicle was stolen off a Ford Motor overflow lot in Michigan in late March or early April.
McDowell claims he does not know the guy who sold it to him, and did not have his number either, yet he was waiting to hear back from him to receive the rest of the papers.
A GPS signal led Cops to McDowell’s house in Southfield, Michigan on April 8th. McDowell was eventually arrested for receiving and concealing stolen property.
