Two Eastern Washington Football Players shot on Saturday
Eastern Washington has become a powerhouse in the FCS and while they have been dominating on the field two of their players were shot off the field.
According to their Sports Information Director Dave Cook, Two Eastern Washington University football players were hospitalized after being shot early Saturday morning in downtown Spokane’s central bar district.
Keith Moore, 21, and Dehonta Hayes, 22, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The shooting happened downtown Spokane around 1:22 a.m. According to police, SPD units were close by at the time and found the two athletes within a minute.
Both are expected to make it but they both suffered injuries.
