Officials believe former UNI running back died from a medical condition not a car accident
I am a huge fan of Northern Iowa and their football program and it hurts me to say that former UNI Panther Austin Ebertowski likely died from a medical condition that preceded a crash in Reno, Nevada on Monday.
Austin Ebertowski was only 25 years of age, and a former running back for the Panthers.
Ebertowski was the son of Lindsay and Jeremy Ebertowski and had four younger siblings: Dalton, Tayler, Jacee and Tegan. This is such as sad day, but authorities are not saying it was the crash that caused the death.
The officials believe that Austin died of a medical condition before his car slowly rolled off the road and hit a fence. They report the impact of the crash was not strong enough to cause a fatal injury.
Please keep his entire family in your prayers as well as the UNI family.
