West Virginia WR becomes the first player to enter the Supplemental Draft
According you Tony Pauline of draftanalyst.com, Marcus Simms the wide receiver from West Virginia University has filed paperwork to enter the NFL supplemental draft.
Simms played three seasons at West Virginia. In 26 games, he made 87 catches for 1,457 yards and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 24.2 yards on 41 kickoff returns.
Simms will work out for NFL teams next month. I would not be shocked if someone spends a late round pick on Simms if he runs well.
